Quality Control
Suncity has a well-equipped testing laboratory to carry out metallurgical and mechanical tests ensuring the highest standards in output delivery.
Destructive Testing
Flaring TestThe test is conducted to establish the forming behavior of pipes & tubes which are expanded to a certain deg.
Flattening TestThis test is conducted to check the strength of the welded section subjecting it to extreme compression stress.
Reverse Flattening TestThis test is to ensure that there are no cracks or blowholes on the welded section of the pipes.
Hardness TestThe hardness is the ability of a material to resist the pressing of a harder material into its surface. According to different test methods and adaptation range, pipe hardness has different units, brinell hardness is one of them.
IGC test Practice Af B, C & EIt is mainly used as a screening test for testing the intercrystalline corrosion of austenitic stainless steel. It is suitable for testing the intergranular corrosion of some high molybdenum nickel base alloys. It is suitable for testing the intergranular corrosion of copper-containing alloys.
Impact TestIt is mainly used as a screening test for testing the intercrystalline corrosion of austenitic stainless steel. It is suitable for testing the intergranular corrosion of some high molybdenum nickel base alloys. It is suitable for testing the intergranular corrosion of copper-containing alloys.
Non Destructive Testing
Hydro
Hydrotesting of pipes, pipelines and vessels is performed to expose defective materials that have missed prior detection, ensure that any remaining defects are insignificant enough to allow operation at design pressures, expose possible leaks and serve as a final validation of the integrity of the constructed system.
Spectro
To explore hybrid composites, providing practical information such as elemental type, chemical composition, optical and electronic properties, and crystallinity.
Eddycurrent
This is the preferred method to detect small, short, incomplete welds, and some subsurface and Inside Diameter conditions in stainless steel.
PMI
Non-destructive testing (NDT) method for verifying the chemical composition of metals and alloys.
